Reason for Our Rating

Sprout Social has positioned itself among the top tier of social marketing platforms for two main reasons: analytics and pricing. If you need advanced analytics, Sprout Social is the obvious choice. They are robust and can be segmented for a variety of users and teams.


The second reason is a double-edged sword for Sprout Social. Their pricing structure hits smaller teams a lot harder compared to their peers. And depending on your use case the feature jump may not be worth the investment. Overall though it is a good option for large brands with large marketing budgets.

The Good

CRM Sprout Social is the only social media management platform that adds a CRM component to its offering. This feature allows the team to tag accounts and past interactions with detailed notes.


Zen Garden Sprout Social offers the top design interface and aesthetics to keep those social media posts filled with positivity.

Reporting The reporting options are the most comprehensive on generating segmented reports of overall social media activity.
